46,000 Agniveers will be recruiting through Agnipath Yojna. Under this Scheme all recruits will be hired initially for 4 year and Soldiers recruited under this system are to be called AGNIVEERS. In these four years of service, they will get a starting salary of
Rs 30,000, which will rise to
Rs 40,000 by the end of the four-year service along with many more additional benefits.
